Amazing Acres spans 120 beautiful acres in the rolling countryside, featuring diverse ecosystems that work together to create a resilient and productive farm.

Our farm is more than just fields—it's a carefully designed landscape where each element supports the others. From our vegetable plots to our orchards, pastures, and natural areas, every part of Amazing Acres plays an important role in our sustainable farming system.

  • Radishes
  • Snap Peas

Fruit Orchards

Our orchards include a diverse collection of apple, pear, peach, plum, and cherry trees, with many heirloom varieties you won't find in stores. These hardy fruit trees are adapted to our local climate and produce exceptional fruit with unique flavors.

We practice integrated pest management and organic methods to grow healthy fruit with minimal intervention. Our trees are pruned for optimal production and longevity, some producing fruit for over 30 years.

Orchard Activities:

  • U-Pick Seasons: Apple picking (September-October), Cherry picking (June), Peach picking (August)
  • Pruning Workshops: Learn how to care for your own fruit trees through our seasonal workshops
  • Cider Pressing: Watch or participate in apple cider making during the fall harvest

Pastures & Livestock

Our lush pastures are home to a small herd of grass-fed cows, heritage breed pigs, and free-range chickens. We practice rotational grazing, moving animals regularly to fresh pasture, which benefits both the animals and the land.

Our livestock lives outdoors with access to shelter as needed, following their natural behaviors and enjoying a diverse diet. This creates happier animals and more nutritious animal products for our customers.

Our Approach:

  • No antibiotics or hormones
  • 100% grass-fed beef
  • Pasture-raised pork and poultry
  • Humane handling practices

Available Products:

  • Grass-fed beef (seasonal)
  • Pasture-raised pork (by reservation)
  • Farm-fresh eggs (year-round)
  • Raw honey from our apiary

Natural Areas

Nearly a third of our property is maintained as natural habitat, including woodland, wetlands, and prairie areas. These spaces provide essential ecosystem services that benefit our farm and support local wildlife.

Our commitment to biodiversity creates a balanced ecosystem where beneficial insects thrive, water is filtered naturally, and native plants flourish. These areas also create windbreaks, prevent erosion, and sequester carbon.

Wildlife We Support:

  • Native pollinators
  • Songbirds
  • Raptors
  • Small mammals
  • Amphibians
  • Beneficial insects
